Home & Community-Based Services

for Hawaii adults and children

Responsive Caregivers of Hawaii is committed to creating positive choices in lives for children who are medically fragile, adults with developmental disabilities and others with special needs. We have been serving people with functional limitations in the community for 30 years.

We understand the difficulty of having a loved one with disabilities, and that’s why we are here for you and your family. We provide comprehensive care and services to the participants. We also educate their families about how our programs and services will improve their loved one physically and mentally, along with offering them consultation on how to take care of their child or family member with disabilities. Today our roles in the community have expanded, which has encouraged us to expand our community-based services.

Everyday, we directly effect the lives of people with disabilities by expanding opportunities across their life spans through:

  • Well-developed day activities
  • Early intervention and training programs
  • Case management personalized to meet demands and needs of each individual and his or her families
  • Workshop and training for family members of individuals with disabilities

At RCH, our supportive staff are dedicated to deliver the best services to each participant. Our goal is to help them increase independence and give them opportunity to integrate successfully in the community.

Dedicated, responsible, and caring are our codes of conduct in providing services to people with special needs and their families.
